We dropped into mile 48 and followed the old logging road. Switchbacks were sharp, and the overlook burned orange as the sun hit the ridge line.

The cook knew every rider by name. Walls stacked with patches, the jukebox still lit in amber, and coffee strong enough to keep the night ride humming.

Copper Canyon Lookout
Wind whipped across the platform while the road disappeared into the shadowed canyon. The group lit up the ridgeline with chrome and headlights before pushing on to the night rally.
